Kelly & Nick met in Cincinnati, Ohio while salsa dancing downtown at the event ‘salsa on the square.’ They chose the stunning and historic venue, the Dayton Arcade, to tie the knot.
During our initial call, Kelly described how important Cincinnati was to the both of them as that is where they first met. She mentioned wanting to do a photoshoot there in lieu of the typical engagement shoot from her photographer. At one point in the call I suggested – why don’t we come too?!
What ensued was 2 separate days of filming, the wedding day itself in Dayton, Ohio as well as a separate day in Cincinnati. I loved being able to offer a completely custom experience for this couple that captured two completely separate (but equally meaningful) locations.
This film blends salsa and bachata music, as well as genre influence from one of Kelly’s favorite artists — Justin Beiber. This is certainly a high energy film which matches the energy and love these two share.
